For those who don’t know, my mother and I will be leaving tomorrow for Washington D.C. for the weekend. My aunt, who is an Air Force General, is receiving a promotion to Colonel General on Friday. I’m very excited because of my involvement in the ceremony. My mom and I will actually pin on my aunt’s promotion! Here’s how the weekend is basically going to go:
Thursday
- Catch a plane to Reagan at 12:10
- Get picked up at 15:00 and go to aunt’s house
- Hang out for the rest of the night
Friday
- Get ready for reception
- Attend and participate in the reception at the Pentagon at 14:30
- Attend after-party immediately after until night
Saturday
- Attend little cousin’s horseback riding lesson.
- Leave D.C. at 15:35
- Get home around 16:45
- SLEEP!!!
