The director of Aviation at Southern Illinois University (Carbondale) just E-mailed the itinerary for Saturday. It looks like it will be a fun filled day. I am very excited as I will be joined by a friend of mine. It should be a total blast (as long as it doesn’t rain. Here’s what the day looks like:
6:30 - Check in at Chicago O’Hare Airport.
8:00 - Aircraft departs for Carbondale.
8:45 - Aircraft Arrives at Southern Illinois Airport in Carbondale.
9:00 - Group Photo.
9:15 - Introductory Flight or tour of SIUC Aviation Facilities.
11:15 - Lunch (compliments of SIUC (YUM!)).
12:00 - Depart from airport and travel to SIUC Campus via bus.
12:30 - SIUC and United Airlines Presentations.
13:30 - Tour of main campus and Recreation Center.
15:00 - Return to airport and re-board aircraft.
17:00 - Return to O’Hare.
