Well here I am sitting at my aunt’s house, typing this entry. My plane should have left four hours ago (but more on that later).So anyway, let’s start from the beginning.

For those who don’t know, my mother and I will be leaving tomorrow for Washington D.C. for the weekend. My aunt, who is an Air Force General, is receiving a promotion to Colonel General on Friday. I’m very excited because of my involvement in the ceremony. My mom and I will actually pin on my aunt’s promotion!
