The director of Aviation at Southern Illinois University (Carbondale) just E-mailed the itinerary for Saturday. It looks like it will be a fun filled day. If you look in the photos section of my blog you will find pictures from Southern Illinois University’s Career day with American Airlines. Well, they decided to do another one with United Airlines. For those of you who don’t know, United will fly us from O’Hare down to Southern Illinois Airport (that’s where SIU holds their flight program). We get to tour the airport, take a short flight in a C172, and tour SIU’s actual campus. Its about a 12 hour day but its packed with activities and fun for all 12 hours. Best thing about it? It’s FREE!!! Now that’s a trip I can afford. This year, United’s career day is Saturday, April 29. I will definitely post some pictures from the trip as well as a post about what we did.
